SARKODIE ATTACKED!

Ghanaian music icon and  rapper Sarkodie born Michael Owusu Addo has come under a barrage of social media attacks following his comment on the huge increasing fuel prices for sometime now..

Many Ghanaians are reeling and complaining about the recent hikes in fuel prices which has worsened their already over burdened cost of living.

Whereas many believes it is as a result of mismanagement of the current regime, others equally disagree citing the recent war between Ukraine and Russia, COVID 19 amid others as reasons for the sharp rise in fuel prices.

Sarkodie who is currently in Dubai for his upcoming concert on the desert took to Twitter to voice out his frustration at the raging fuel debacle.

In his tweet as observed by trendsghananews.blogspot.com , the Rap genius intimated  “Staying indoors when I touch down GH…zoom calls only”

To wit he Sarkodie will as a matter of saving cost, resort to zoom meetings for his engagements and other businesses when he returns to Ghana as a result of the sharp increment in fuel prices over couple of months now.

This tweet has not not gone down well with a cross section of people on social media who sort to point out the hypocritical angle of the comment from the rap god.

They believe the superstar’s comment leaves much to be desired judging from how critical he was on the previous regime when certain economic issues raised their head..

They recalled the fact that, the superstar even hit the studios back then to record songs to address the issues and went hard on the then administration and therefore should be doing likewise under the current regime..

Highest as he is affectionately called , has however not come out subsequently to respond to the attacks on social media..

Sarkodie is currently far away in Dubai where he is expected to host his desert musical concert.
